Top 10 things to do in SD

http://gocalifornia.about.com/cs/sandiego/a/sdtop10.htm

Top 10 Things to do in San Diego
  • San Diego Zoo: World famous, and deservedly so.
  • Wild Animal Park: Animals in large, open spaces, the next best thing to a safari.
  • La Jolla Charming, romantic seaside town. Go for shopping, galleries or tidepool-hopping.
  • Tijuana: The most popular border town is a short trolley ride away.
  • Harbor Cruise: San Diego has a long-standing maritime heritage and a beautiful skyline, and you can enjoy them both from a boat.
  • Balboa Park and Museums: America's largest urban cultural park has more than 25 museums and attractions from astronomical to horticultural.
  • Old Town: Mexican restaurants and historic tours in the city's oldest neighborhood.
  • Sea World: Shamu and her buddies perform daily.
  • Coronado: Home to the elegant Hotel Del Coronado and one of the best beaches in the country.
  • The Beach: With seventy miles of sand and surf, there's plenty of space away from the other San Diego attractions.
There are plenty of other things to do in San Diego besides the ones on this list. If you are very interested in a specific sight or activity, and you have plenty of information about it, don't skip it because of my recommendations. However, if you don't know much about it, there may be a reason why it's not listed. Research it carefully before you go to be sure you spend your vacation time and money wisely.

Lux Aeterna

One of my all time favorites. Listen to it with your eyes closed and see what comes to mind as you listen, it is quite powerful this song. Or pretend as i do and conduct this symphony.

Maybe another trip to California is on the cards this time. Here’s hoping. If there is, i’m thinking San Diego. The above link is 25 things to do for free in SD.

San Diego from LA is approximately 120 miles along the I-5. (Google Maps)

Sounds like fun.
14. Cross the border into colorful and exciting Tijuana, Mexico. Entrance is free, the people are friendly, and the shops offer unique gifts and apparel as well as great window-shopping.

I wonder how far SD is from Tijuana. I will google it right now LOL. Lots of varying answers on Yahoo answers but it doesnt seem that far at all. Maybe half an hour or so.

BERTIE HIGGINS lyrics - "Key Largo"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru2tsT32pHA

Wrapped around each other
Trying so hard to stay warm
That first cold winter together
Lying in each others arms
Watching those old movies
Falling in love so desperately
Honey, I was your hero
And you were my leading lady

We had it all
Just like Bogie and Bacall
Starring in our old late, late show
Sailing away to Key Largo
Here's lookin' at you kid
Missing all the things we did
We can find it once again, I know
Just like they did in Key Largo

Honey, can't you remember
We played all the parts
That sweet scene of surrender
When you gave me your heart
Please say you will
Play it again
'Cause I love you still
Baby, this can't be the end

We had it all
(We had it all)
Just like Bogie and Bacall
Starring in our old late, late show
Sailing away to Key Largo

Here's lookin' at you kid
(Here's lookin' at you kid)
Missing all the things we did
We can find it once again, I know
Just like they did in Key Largo

We had it all
(We had it all)
Just like Bogie and Bacall
Starring in our old late, late show
Sailing away to Key Largo

New Notebook

For those who know me well, i got a new laptop or notebook two days ago and i have been trying to get it connected to the internet via a wireless connection. After a few headaches, the modem not being able to pick up my internet connection on the phone line, i am happy to say i am now able to use the laptop at home. I havent tested out the full capabilities of the wireless connection yet, i am still to find out if i can sit in my back yard and still access the internet, i hope i can, great for summer nights outdoors.
