Shamwow

I’ve seen this product on television before and never thought of buying one until my sister did. I have taken one or two of hers (wink wink) and have been using a small one in the bathroom in the shower. Using it on the glass, the glass is the cleanest it has been in a long while without even any cleaning products. The glass is beading like it is new.
Another thing i use it for is for wiping down my body before i get out of the shower, it takes away most of the water so i’m not spilling it all over the floor. I haven’t tested it out on any spills yet but it does seem to hold plenty of water. It may get a good test out this summer by the pool.

Phil Collins – Another day in Paradise

She calls out to the man on the street
"Sir, can you help me?
It's cold and I've nowhere to sleep,
Is there somewhere you can tell me?"
He walks on, doesn't look back
He pretends he can't hear her
Starts to whistle as he crosses the street
Seems embarrassed to be there
Oh think twice, it's another day for
You and me in paradise
Oh think twice, it's just another day for you,
You and me in paradise
She calls out to the man on the street
He can see she's been crying
She's got blisters on the soles of her feet
Can't walk but she's trying
Oh think twice...
Oh lord, is there nothing more anybody can do
Oh lord, there must be something you can say
You can tell from the lines on her face
You can see that she's been there
Probably been moved on from every place
'Cos she didn't fit in there
Oh think twice...

Louis Armstrong We have all the time in the world

We have all, the time in the world
Time ENOUGH for life
To UNFOLD
All the prescious things
Love has in store
We have all the love in the world
If that's all we have
You will find
We need nothing more
Every step of the way
Will find us
With the cares of the world
Far behind us
We have all the time in the world
Just for love
Nothing more
Nothing less
Only love
Every step of the way
Will find us
With the cares of the world
Far behind us
Yes
We have all the time in the world
Just for love
Nothing more
Nothing less
Only love
Only love

Come back again
I want you to stay next time
Cause sometimes the world aint kind
When people get lost like you and me
I just made a friend
A friend is someone you need
But now that he has to go away
I still feel the words that he might say
Turn on your heartlight
Let it shine wherever you go
Let it make a happy glow
For all the world to see
Turn on your heartlight
In the middle of a young boys dream
Dont wake up too soon
Gonna take a ride across the moon
You and me
Hes lookin for a home
Cause everyone needs a place
A homes the most excellent place of all
And Ill be right here if you should call me
Turn of your heartlight
Let it shine wherever you go
Let it make a happy glow
For all the world to see
Turn on your heartlight
In the middle of a young boys dream
Dont wake up too soon
Gonna take a ride across the moon
You and me
Turn on your heartlight now
Turn on your heartlight now

American stucco

Synthetic Stucco
http://www.askthebuilder.com/130_Cement_Stucco_Synthetic_Stucco_EIFS.shtml
EIFS (exterior insulation and finish) Wikipedia

Although often called "synthetic stucco", EIFS is not stucco. Traditional stucco is often called Portland Cement Plaster, and is a centuries-old non-insulating material. Stucco consists of sand, Portland Cement, and water, and is a hard, dense, thick, non-insulating material. EIFS is a lightweight synthetic wall cladding that includes foam plastic insulation and thin synthetic coatings.

So according to wikipedia, EIFS is a foam sheeting that is glued to the wall which is then coated with acrylic stucco which has all the adhesives and special stuff in it.

Parex

Is a company who make stucco products. They stock EIFS and acrylic stucco.

What is the significance of the title: Twilight?

What is the significance of the title: Twilight?

Ok with a little help from Google to get me started, i read a little bit for an idea or two but i will endeavor to answer these questions on my own accord.

He ignored me, staring up at the moon.
”Twilight, again,” he murmured. “Another ending. No matter how perfect the day is, it always has to end.”
”Some things don’t have to end,” I muttered through my teeth, instantly tense. (pages 494-495)
……………………
”So ready for this to be the end,” he murmured, almost to himself, “for this to be the twilight of your life, though your life has barely started. You’re ready to give up everything.”
”Its not the end, it’s the beginning,” I disagreed under my breath. (page 497)

So what is twilight, according to Ninja Words.

twilight

noun
  • The soft light in the sky seen before the rising and (especially) after the setting of the sun, occasioned by the illumination of the earth’s atmosphere by the direct rays of the sun and their reflection on the earth.

"I could just make out her face in the twilight."

  • °The time when this light is visible; the period between daylight and darkness.

"It was twilight by the time I got back home."

adjective
  • Pertaining to or resembling twilight.

"O’er the twilight groves and dusky caves. —Alexander Pope."

So its the time between day and night or between night and day. It is the time where day/night ends and night/day begins. In the last passage i read from the book, the whole twilight idea is summed up right there. Edward asks her if she really wants to end one life and to start another. She is in the twilight of her life. The whole book leads to this one decision that will change her life.

Twilight

Some interesting questions on the book of Twilight by Stephanie Myers. Over time, i will try to answer each question one by one. Have a think about these questions and as i answer them(with help of Google ;-)), feel free to add your two cents worth.

  1. What is the significance of the title: Twilight?
  2. Can you identify with Bella's thoughts and actions throughout the book? Why or why not?
  3. Edward is ferociously attracted to Bella by her smell. That may make his love unconditional (because she can't change the smell of her blood), but does it make it less admirable since it's not based on character?
  4. Is Rosalie's dislike of Bella justified? Why or why not?
  5. Do you think Carlisle did the right thing changing Edward into a vampire, or was it selfish? Does Edward show any signs of resentment toward Carlisle for what he did? Explain.
  6. Would it appeal to you to live forever? Why or why not?
  7. Do you think Billy's unsolicited warnings to Bella are entirely well-intentioned, or might there be something sinister going on?
  8. Edward really is unlike any human guy – even his breath is intoxicating! What do you make of the criticism that Twilight gives young female readers unrealistic expectations of men?
  9. The author makes clear that vampires have to be very attractive to their prey, but do you think Edward is too perfect? Why or why not?
