World Of Wheels

Yesterday was the 14th Annual World of Wheels Car show in Peachland. The weather overnight was poor but the days weather turned out quite nicely and the show was able to go on. Overall 405 cars entered in the car show many of which were classic cars, some modern cars and a handful of antique cars. For the town of Peachland, the event is a very big one and is very helpful to the local economy as several thousand people swarm into the town for the festivities.

Parking for the event is a big problem and is something that they will always will have issues with especially considering where it is located. Located on the beach with very minimal parking, we had to walk almost a kilometer from our car, our spot being very dubious on a muddy looking landfill area (God bless 4wd) but if you look on the positive side, the walk is along the beach and is quite enjoyable. Even with the parking issues, the event was very nice, with food vendors and live music, nice cars, nice weather and lovely location, what more could you ask for?
